How much detergent should I use?
If you're using a non-residue detergent, follow the instructions.
If you're using an everyday detergent, do not use more than 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended amount of detergent.
If you add too little detergent, the diapers won't get clean. If you add too much detergent, residue may build up on the diapers. This can cause the diapers to lose their absorbancy and result in smelling and leaking.
Make sure the rinse water has no more soap bubbles, or do another rinse.
