Why Cloth Diaper?
**Environmentally Friendly
One baby using disposable diapers contributes 1 ton of waste to landfills. 27.4 billion disposable diapers are used every year in the U.S. Disposable diapers take 250-500 years to decompose. (realdiaperassociation.org)

Disposable diapers can cost $1500-$2000 per child. Even with the frequent washings, cloth is still so much cheaper. Especially if the diapers are used for more than one child. Calculate how much you can save here.
**No chemicals
Disposable diapers have chemicals that have caused known reactions and may still cause side effects which are still unknown. Some theories, proven or unproven, include these chemicals leading to infertility, cancer, skin diseases, and birth defects.
